The Braves made a late push, scoring two runs in the ninth inning, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Phillies' lead.

In Game 2 of the series, which will be played on Saturday, the Braves will attempt to level the series.

With a victory in Game 2, the Philadelphia Phillies will attempt to take a commanding 2-0 series lead if they are successful.
