STEFON DIGGS FINED BY NFL FOR STONE COLD BEER CELEBRATION
The National Football League has assessed a penalty against Stefon Diggs, a wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills.
The fine was for Diggs' Stone Cold Steve Austin-inspired beer celebration during a game against the Washington Football Team.
Diggs pretended to chug a beer and then smash it on his helmet, mimicking a famous celebration by wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Diggs' celebration was found to be in violation of the NFL's regulations, which prohibit excessive celebrations, and the NFL has severe restrictions prohibiting excessive celebrations.
The penalty that should have been paid by Diggs was $10,000.
Diggs has been one of the top receivers in the NFL this season, with over 1,000 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
The Buffalo Bills have a record of 9-3 so far this season, which puts them in first place in the AFC East.
The Washington Football Team, on the other hand, has a record of 5-7 and is now in last place in the NFC East.
