With consecutive album remakes dubbed "Taylor's Version," pop phenomenon and singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has been ruling the music business. The "Blank Space" singer is presently engaged in The Eras tour, the largest world tour in history.
The fact that Taylor is now ruling the box office is also not shocking. The singer of "Speak Now" is well-known to everybody, and her next concert video, "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour," was captured on camera when she was on her current tour.
Global sales of advance tickets for the concert film have already surpassed $100 million, according to AMC Theatres Distribution and AMC Entertainment. In around a week, the movie will debut in almost 8500 theaters in 100 nations.
On October 13, "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour," a two-and-a-half-hour film, will be released on theaters. Swifties, Taylor's fan base, hold the release date in high regard because thirteen is considered to be the singer's lucky number.
The singer of "Cardigan" revealed the link to purchase early tickets on Instagram along with the official release date for her next movie.
It's interesting to note that the Blumhouse production company had originally scheduled The Exorcist: Believer's release for the same day, but they later moved it to a later date to accommodate the singer and the filmmakers.
Because of an exclusive agreement with AMC theaters, the Eras Tour movie will only be seen there. Deadline claims that Regal and Cinemark will screen the movie in addition to AMC.
It is anticipated that the film would screen for four weeks, most likely on Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends. The sub-distribution partners include Cinepolis in Mexico and Central America, Cineplex in Canada, and Variance Films handling the US premiere. Outside of North America, the release is managed by Trafalgar.
